The Four Dimensions Inventory / 4D-i®
The 4D-i® is a scientifically validated psychometric instrument developed by OneSmartWorld with a team of organizational psychologists. It maps individual preferences for four types of thinking, or operating styles: creativity, understanding, decision making, plus personal spirit or resilience.
While most people use each of these types of thinking at different times, we tend to have a preference for one over the others, which we rely on. Our goal is to help people and teams understand their own preferences, as a starting point for developing their total intelligence.
Our common language of colour-coded thinking is the foundation for everything we do. It’s how we help leaders and teams hone precision thinking skills, collaborate effectively and innovate more. It’s also the basis for how we teach young people and leaders essential skills for success in work and beyond.
